Kids Martial Arts Classes in Slough
(Ages 4–6)
Building Confidence, Coordination and Listening Skills

Martial Arts for Ages 4+ Building Strong, Confident Kids
Our Little Warriors programme in Slough is designed specifically for children aged 4–6, helping them develop confidence, coordination, and positive behaviour through structured movement-based martial arts games.
At this age, children are learning how to listen, follow instructions, control their emotions, and interact with others. Our classes support these key developmental stages in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment.
Using age-appropriate martial arts activities, games, and movement drills, we help young children build the physical and emotional foundations that support success at school, at home, and in social situations.
What Little Warriors Really Teaches
Little Warriors is not about fighting or competition.
It is about helping young children develop the foundations they need to grow into confident, capable learners.
Through structured movement and play, children develop:
Confidence
Children learn that it’s safe to try, make mistakes, and succeed in front of others.
Coordination
Movements such as balancing, jumping, crawling, rolling, whilst co-ordinating different parts of their bodies at the same time and striking patterns help build the brain–body connection that supports learning and physical development.
Listening & Behaviour
Children learn to:
-
follow instructions
-
wait their turn
-
respect boundaries
-
work with others
These are essential skills for both school and home life.
Why Parents Choose Little Warriors
Parents often enrol their children because they want to see improvements in:
-
Listening and behaviour at home
-
Focus and participation at school
-
Confidence when trying new things
-
Emotional regulation and patience
-
Safe, coordinated physical play
Our structured classes help children develop these skills step by step in a positive environment.
Many parents notice improvements in their child’s confidence, focus, and willingness to follow instructions within just a few months of consistent training.
Our academy only takes on 12 children per session which is based in Slough, with many families travelling from Langley, Burnham, Windsor, and Gerrards Cross.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is martial arts safe for 4–6 year olds?
Yes. Classes are structured, supervised, and designed specifically for young children.
Will this help with behaviour and listening?
Yes. One of the main goals of the Little Warriors programme is helping children develop listening skills, patience, and respect for instructions. Parents often notice improvements in behaviour at home and participation at school.
What if my child is shy or lacks confidence?
Many children start out feeling shy or unsure in new environments. Through supportive coaching and achievable challenges, children gradually become more comfortable participating in front of others and develop confidence in their abilities.
Does my child need to be sporty?
No. Most children start with no experience.
Is my child too young to start martial arts at age 4?
No. Our Little Warriors programme is designed specifically for children aged 4–6, focusing on movement, coordination, and listening skills rather than complex martial arts techniques. Classes use fun, structured activities that match how young children learn best.
What should my child wear to their first class?
For the trial class, comfortable sports clothing such as a t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms or shorts is perfect. Once your child joins the programme, we’ll guide you on the appropriate training uniform.
